Slip Risk Management
Wherever a foot falls, there is the risk of a slip accident happening. This can not be eliminated, but it can be managed.
ASSESS
The first step is to assess the risk whether indoors or outdoors, is to have the surface Pendulum Tested in accordance with EN 16165:2021 - Annexe C (replacing BS 7976), and as recommended by the Health & Safety Authority of Ireland (HSA) .

PREVENT
Once the slip risk haS been identified, there are various means to limit the risk.
Fit for purpose - On a new project, have all flooring tested with our In-House Pendulum Test to ensure suitability for end use conditions.
If flooring is already down - a variety of solutions like anti-slip treatments, specialist clean, retro fitting (e.g. GRP Anti Slip Products) can be applied
